I've been restoring and mildly modifying as I go. Just about to start engine rebuild (Feb 2008). Fairly original car except for 4-speed gearbox and not the original engine, though it still has a Pacer block. It currently has hurricane manifold and 4-barrel Holley, twin-point ignition, Pacemaker extractors. I think I'm the 4th or 5th owner, was a country Victorian car for quite a while I think. I have an interesting receipt from mid '90's which says "Checked car for Winton". Track day car possibly?

It is the best "2 Door Pacer HardTop" in Australia, and has the trophies to prove. It is Hemi Orange with mod pack and runs with genuine matching numbers 245. It has featured in numerous magazines and played a small part in the 1999 Eric Bana movie “Chopper” about the notorious underworld crime figure Chopper Reid. The awards the car has received are: • Chryslers by the Bay: “Best Interior” • Charger Club of Australia: “Best Engine Bay” • Muscle Car Exhibition: “Most Original” • And most importantly Chryslers on the Murray: “Best Pacer”
