Car was written off in the 80s? No front end engine or drivetrain. I have purchased the shell and most other parts (dash , interior etc) requiring full resto. Will eventually get 265 with webers and Pacer block (have already) and set up for top speed.

I bought the car from Melbourne in November 2005. I've been restoring and mildly modifying as I go. Just about to start engine rebuild (Feb 2008).
Fairly original car except for 4-speed gearbox and not the original engine, though it still has a Pacer block. It currently has hurricane manifold and 4-barrel Holley, twin-point ignition, Pacemaker extractors.
I think I'm the 4th or 5th owner, was a country Victorian car for quite a while I think. I have an interesting receipt from mid '90's which says "Checked car for Winton". Track day car possibly?

This vehicle has had a top to bottom restoration. It is the best "2 Door Pacer HardTop" in Australia, and has the trophies to prove. It is Hemi Orange with mod pack and runs with genuine matching numbers 245.

It has featured in numerous magazines and played a small part in the 1999 Eric Bana movie “Chopper” about the notorious underworld crime figure Chopper Reid.

The awards the car has received are:
• Chryslers by the Bay: “Best Interior”
• Charger Club of Australia: “Best Engine Bay”
• Muscle Car Exhibition: “Most Original”
• And most importantly Chryslers on the Murray: “Best Pacer”

The names Dale and i'm a 20 year old uni student, currently studying mechanical engineering in Victoria. I bought the car early 2005, in basically bog stock form except for a 350 holley and dual exhaust. Overall in pretty good conditon for its age, genuine 77000ml good interior and driveline just needs some body work.

Important information about ads: This site has been running for 22 years, providing information about Chrysler Valiant Pacers. The site has never made a penny (it was never intended to do so) and was built for the love of Pacers, however it has always cost money to run. In 2018 I put some ad's on the site to see if the website can somehow cover its costs and so far the ads look like they'll cover about 50% of the annual running costs. If you see an ad that interests you, please click on it, as it will help! Just seeing ads does not achieve anything, and so if you would rather not see any ad's, you can click here to not see any more. It looks like you've opted to not see any ads, which is fine, but if you want you can turn them back on here.
